JUPITERFAB
ABOUT

ABOUT

ARTIST STATEMENT

JupiterfabI am a multimedia artist with a special focus on murals. Originally Italian, I am based in
Mexico and I run art projects worldwide with a focus on social impact.
My works are socially orientated with a strong connection with anthropology. I lead projects
and cooperate with marginalized communities around the globe. I paint on walls and on
canvas; I create multimedia installations as well as sound and video installations.
I cover many topics, amongst which migration, integration, digital technology addiction,
gentrification, and social justice are my main focus.
I am strongly attracted to the relationship between human beings and the urban space and many of
my works are oriented towards children and adolescents K – 12.
I paint in a personal way, mixing realism with expressionism and illustration. I naturally stress the
emotions and feelings of my characters. My work is the consequence of a deep observation
of society and self-taught techniques utilizing the brush, the palette and industrial acrylic colors.
I collaborate with art centers, schools, universities, NGOs, and private and public institutions. I
design my projects in alliance with social science research.
You can find a short-list within the following organizations: GIZ Mexico, UNHCR, Italian Government,
Rotterdam Court of Justice, U of T (University of Toronto), University of Sheffield (UK), Can Felipa
(Spain).
I enrich my art knowledge with my interest in languages that is supported by my degree in
Linguistics (Italian, Spanish and English).
